Morgan Wesson
Occupational Therapist
EDUCATION
Morgan graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2022 with an Honours Degree in
Occupational Therapy. She was drawn to Occupational Therapy for the opportunity to work
across the physical, mental and social domains of health, supporting people in a holistic and
meaningful way.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Morgan completed her community service in Mahikeng, where she worked in female acute
and subacute psychiatry as well as male and female forensic psychiatry. She gained
experience in inpatient psychiatric care, emotional regulation, life skills development and
supporting reintegration into the community, while working closely within a multidisciplinary
team.
TRAININGS & EXPERTISE
Morgan has training in Sensory Intelligence, neuroaffirming care, executive functioning,
chronic pain, functional neurological disorders, and sexual and reproductive health. She has
a particular interest in sexual health, chronic pain and working with adolescents.
PASSION & FOCUS
Morgan is passionate about supporting individuals in developing independence,
self-understanding and meaningful participation in their daily lives. She values creating safe
therapeutic spaces where clients feel supported, understood and empowered to grow.
PROFESSIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Morgan believes therapy should promote and foster independence from the early stages and
should always be guided by what is most meaningful to the client, centering their lived
experience. She believes growth can only happen where there is safety, and that safety is
the strongest stimulus for growth. She also values bringing whimsy, creativity and play into
daily life and therapy.
LIFE & INSPIRATION
Morgan lives in Cape Town with her husband and many plants. She enjoys going to the gym,
swimming, reading, spending time with loved ones and being in the ocean. These activities
help her stay grounded, connected and inspire her approach to therapy and daily life

Ilhaam Lee
Occupational Therapist
EDUCATION
Ilhaam graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2022 with an Honours Degree in
Occupational Therapy. She was drawn to Occupational Therapy because it allowed her to
work with people, listen to their stories, and support meaningful engagement in daily life. She
values the holistic nature of Occupational Therapy and its focus on addressing barriers
within environments, systems and contexts.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Ilhaam completed her community service in rural Northern Cape, where she gained
experience in paediatrics, neurological conditions, KMC and NICU care, and community
outreach. Working in a rural and resource-limited setting strengthened her understanding of
accessibility, creativity and community-based care. During this time she worked closely
within a multidisciplinary team, and developed a strong appreciation for collaboration in
supporting clients across the lifespan.
TRAININGS & EXPERTISE
Ilhaam has training in neuroaffirming care, wheelchair seating, sensory integration, executive
function, child development and play and sexual health. Her work includes paediatrics,
mental health, maternal health, sexuality, identity and supporting individuals, couples and
families through life transitions. Areas of support include sensory and emotional regulation,
child learning, development and play, and participation in school, work, play and leisure.
PASSION & FOCUS
Ilhaam is passionate about supporting people through life transitions, identity exploration,
relationships and personal growth. She works with individuals of all backgrounds, social
identities and life experience, helping them discover who they are and who they want to
become. Her own experiences as a mother of premature twins, including NICU care and
loss, have shaped her compassion for families and parents navigating early parenthood and
change. She values creating a therapeutic space that feels human, open and safe, where
people can grow, express themselves and build lives that feel meaningful and authentic.

Ilhaam’s approach is holistic, client-centered, contextually relevant and collaborative. She
believes therapy should be explorative, practical, meaningful and connected to real life and
everyday participation. She values working together with clients, families, schools,
workplaces and other professionals to support sustainable change and meaningful
engagement in daily life and community.
LIFE & INSPIRATION
Ilhaam lives in Cape Town with her husband and son. She enjoys slow walks, iced coffee,
the beach, music, reading, dining out, people watching, laughing and spending time with
loved ones. These everyday moments of connection, joy, chaos and rest, shape her
understanding of meaningful occupation and influence the way she approaches therapy and
life.
